This sounds like a great feature, but I haven't been able to get it to work. Using any combination of levels, e.g., Family Type, Serif, Weight, the results shown are always:
Total: 0
Successfully Parsed: 0
PANOSE Data Error: 0
Corrupted Files: 0
Tried a single level, too , but same result.

Thanks for your response, which cleared up my failure to enter the correct source for the fonts. But I have now entered C:\WINDOWS\Fonts as the source, with the same zero results. This is the folder where my TTF (and FON) fonts are located.

This system folder is ignored by the program.
You can make a copy of this folder and specify a copy as a source. It will work.

OK I need more help. I copied my computer's Fonts folder to my documents folder and renamed the folder My Fonts. Now what?

Source
C:\Users\Joni Solis\Documents\My Fonts\
Export
C:\PROGRA~1\ADVANC~1\Export\

Structure
Level 3
Level 1 Family Kind
Level 2 Serif Style
Level 3 Weight

Is that the right Export folder or should I make a new folder in the new My Fonts folder for easier backups of all my fonts?
Once I organize the fonts in the new folder do I delete the fonts in the My Fonts folder?

Sorry, but I just don't understand how all this works.

Sorry, but I still do not get it. What does the above mean?

Well I ran the Organizer with the setting I put above.
I got a lot of these errors:

C:\Users\Joni Solis\Documents\My Fonts\vwag.ttf; PANOSE: 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0; ERROR: Empty data
C:\Users\Joni Solis\Documents\My Fonts\vwagb.ttf; PANOSE: 2 11 226 0 0 0 0 0 0 0; ERROR: Does not correspond to the specification

Total: 1005
Successfully Parsed: 756
PANOSE Data Error: 249
Corrupted Files: 0

Now what? What do these errors mean?
How do I view this organized list of fonts?
Once I organize the fonts do I delete the fonts in the new 'My Fonts' folder? So these organized fonts are where now?

I need to watch a video on all of this. Anyone have one?

The new organised collection is in a folder - Export.
Each font can contain the information for its identification. This information is called PANOSE. But the author of a font could not add there it, or add the information mismatching the standard that does not allow to use it. Therefore the part of fonts cannot be correctly organised and such fonts are located in separate folders.

Unfortunately I do not have experience of processing and video creation.

Thanks for that info and I did figure out how to view the organized fonts.
So all my organized fonts on in the "Export" folder.

Q. Now once I have organized the fonts do I delete the new 'My Fonts' folder where I put a copy of all the fonts that are install on my PC?

I deleted the new folder "My Fonts" with copies of the PC's fonts.
Then I opened the Advanced Font Viewer and I can see my Organized fonts so all is well I guess.

Now if I install more fonts on my PC I have to go through all of this again?
Steps:
Make a copy of the fonts folder and put in a new location with a new name and then run the Organizer again and then delete the copies fonts folder.

And what sense in it? What for to sort the installed fonts? It is necessary to sort not installed fonts. That it was then easier to choose, what font to install. At viewing of the installed fonts it is possible to use the filter. You do not have not enough possibilities of this filter?

Are you saying that the fonts that are installed on my PC can be viewed sorted by type within the Advanced Font Viewer without doing the Organizer steps? That only the uninstalled fonts need to be put through the Organizer steps? Question

Yes, the installed fonts can be filtered:
- All
- Roman (Serif)
- Swiss (Sans-serif)
- Script
- Decorative
- Modern (Monospace)
- Dontcare

The organizer is necessary for sorting of all your collection. Some people can have some tens thousand fonts. After sorting of this collection it is easier to find the necessary font and to install it. For viewing of the sorted collection it is necessary to use Browser tab.
